If you’re hosting a Christmas event at your place this year, there are a few simple steps you can take to avoid last-minute stress, and ensure this Christmas is a happy one.
-
- Order your ham or turkey now, to ensure it arrives in time.
- Confirm the menu well in advance, and consider dishes that can be frozen/made beforehand.
- Favour food that keeps well at room temperature.
- Write a shopping list now, and start collecting items on your weekly shop.
- Ask people to bring a plate.
- Dust off the decorations box, and buy or make new ornaments if required.
- Don’t leave present shopping to the last minute. Tackle a small batch each week, or shop online.
